Rumble Kong League, a mobile basketball game associated with NBA stars Steph Curry and Paul George, has announced that it will migrate its game to the Ethereum sidechain Ronin instead of launching on Avalanche. The developers of Rumble Kong League believe that Ronin's large user base, with 17.2 million wallet downloads and 18.9 million RON token holders, will greatly benefit their game. The migration to Ronin is part of the platform's efforts to welcome more applications and games and make Ronin a permissionless and open ecosystem. As part of the migration, Rumble Kong League will extend its soft launch on iOS and Android to welcome Ronin users and increase in-game rewards. The game features 3v3 basketball competitions and initially launched as a collection of NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. NBA players Steph Curry and Paul George have also been involved with the game through partnerships and collaborations.
