Crypto exchange Bybit has been removed from France's AMF blacklist after more than two years of regulatory scrutiny. Bybit's CEO, Ben Zhou, stated that the company had resolved its compliance issues with French regulators and is now working towards obtaining a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation license to operate across the European Union. However, Bybit is still facing regulatory challenges in other countries, including recent fines in India for breaking money laundering laws and a forced cessation of operations in Malaysia. Furthermore, Zhou has denied reports that he will be joining the Pi Network and stated that Bybit has not released an official statement regarding the listing of the Pi Coin on its platform. The mainnet launch of Pi Coin is scheduled for February 20, 2025, causing its price to spike.
