Former FTX executive Caroline Ellison is set to serve her two-year prison term in Connecticut after being sentenced for her role in the multi-billion-dollar downfall of the FTX ecosystem. Ellison pleaded guilty to conspiring to steal billions of dollars worth of crypto assets from FTX customers, alongside her ex-boyfriend, who received a decades-long prison sentence. Despite being cooperative and remorseful, Ellison's crimes warranted a prison term according to the judge. She will also be subjected to three years of supervised release.
