The team formerly behind Blocktower Capital has founded a new firm called Strobe. They decided to be more independent and focus solely on venture capital, without having to worry about other sides of the business. The team is currently in the fourth year of deployment with their $150 million first fund and is expected to raise $100 million for their second fund. The team teased upcoming investments and expressed their focus on finding companies that will be around in the long term and have a focus on fundamental principles, such as revenue.
