The foundation's attempts to engage with criticism have been seen as out of touch. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has outlined goals for increased activity, communications, and use of the chain by the foundation. Buterin defended current Foundation leadership and is exploring the option of staking Foundation ETH to minimize risks. In a cultural move, Buterin changed his profile picture to a "milady" NFT to remove a "curse" placed on ETH.
