A new crypto scam has emerged where scammers publicly share their seed phrases on YouTube comments in order to deceive and exploit thieves trying to steal funds. The scammers post comments on finance-related videos, claiming to need help transferring USDT to another wallet while revealing their seed phrase. This seed phrase is the key to accessing and controlling the funds in the wallet. However, the scammers have set a trap by using a multi-signature wallet that requires multiple approvals for transactions. When thieves attempt to transfer money, they discover that the wallet lacks enough TRX to cover the transaction fee and any TRX they try to send is rerouted to a different wallet. The scam primarily targets other criminals, tricking them into becoming victims and unable to access the funds they thought they were stealing.
