Cheqd and Dock, two decentralized identity (DID) platforms, have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of DID solutions. The integration will create a network of over 100,000 users and hundreds of partners. Dock supports identity solutions providers with know-your-customer processes, background checks, and biometrics, while cheqd operates an infrastructure for building credential ecosystems. The partnership aims to deliver scalable solutions for industries such as finance and government services. Dock’s mainnet and testnet traffic will migrate to the cheqd network, and the DOCK token will be converted into CHEQ. The companies will continue to operate independently. The partnership aims to drive the mainstream adoption of decentralized identity and comply with regulatory frameworks. Both companies also plan to introduce additional innovations, such as a MiCA-compliant stablecoin and mobile driver’s licenses.
