Fundraising platform JustGiving has introduced support for cryptocurrency donations, allowing users to donate in over 60 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, and Dogecoin. The move comes as there is a renewed interest in cryptocurrencies among retail investors. The Giving Block is providing the infrastructure for JustGiving to accept crypto donations. JustGiving has raised nearly $9 billion in donations over the past 24 years and hopes to attract more funds with this new offering. According to The Giving Block's Annual Report, crypto donations have brought in over $2 billion in the past five years, with the average crypto donation being 40 times larger than fiat-denominated donations.
