Cassette, a decentralized storage application built on NeoFS, has released version 0.2.0 with new features aimed at improving user experience and expanding functionality. The update includes integration of NeoNS, allowing users to assign human-readable names to storage containers. Containers can now be publicly shared using their ID or NeoNS name. Cassette also introduced the Cassette URI scheme, which allows users to access files directly within the application using Cassette URLs. Additionally, Cassette offers improved web hosting capabilities on NeoFS, including a directory upload feature that maintains the original file and folder structure. Cassette was initially launched as GreenFinch and received recognition and funding before rebranding and releasing the current version.
