Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has responded to critics who questioned the inclusion of certain cryptocurrencies in the US digital asset reserve. Former US President Donald Trump announced that the reserve would support five cryptocurrencies: ADA, XRP, BTC, SOL, and ETH. However, some critics, such as Tyler Winklevoss, believe that these altcoins do not meet the criteria for inclusion. Hoskinson pointed out that critics have failed to define the benchmark for selecting cryptocurrencies for the reserve, suggesting that there is no agreed-upon standard. He defended the inclusion of altcoins like ADA and XRP, citing their technology, community support, and resilience. Hoskinson also called out false claims made by Bitcoin proponent Eli Nagar regarding Ripple, Solana, Cardano, and Ethereum. Additionally, the Cardano community has called on Gemini, the exchange co-founded by Winklevoss, to list ADA for trading now that it has the backing of the US government. However, Gemini has not responded to this demand.
