Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit CEO Ben Zhou has announced that the platform has successfully recovered the Ethereum (ETH) that was lost in a hacker attack last week. Bybit plans to release an audited proof of reserve report to demonstrate that customer assets are now fully backed. The attack had raised concerns about Bybit's liquidity, but the exchange resorted to short-term "bridge loans" to cover the stolen ETH and maintain withdrawal requests, ensuring its solvency. With the reserves replenished, withdrawals are now functioning normally, and the audited report aims to further reassure users.
