The Blockchain Association, a US-based crypto lobbying group, has sent an open letter to President-elect Donald Trump and Congress outlining five key actions to establish the US as a global leader in cryptocurrency innovation. The letter emphasized the importance of lifting the bank account ban on crypto companies and appointing new leaders for the SEC, Treasury Department, and IRS. It also proposed the creation of a cryptocurrency advisory committee to work with Congress and federal regulators. The Blockchain Association expressed its readiness to work with the administration and its members to ensure the US regains its position as a leader in financial and technological innovation. This letter aligns with Trump's reported pro-crypto stance, including his plans to create a White House position dedicated to cryptocurrency matters.
