Bitcoin miners received some relief as the network's difficulty decreased by 4.6% at block height 862,848. This means that mining a block subsidy will be 4.6% easier for the next two weeks. The difficulty level had previously remained steady at 92.67 trillion, but it now stands at 88.40 trillion. The drop in difficulty makes the task of finding blocks slightly easier for miners. Additionally, the hashrate is currently at 638.82 exahash per second, and with the boost in bitcoin's price, mining becomes more attractive.
