Former Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has issued a warning to cryptocurrency holders about the risks associated with accepting digital assets through shared private keys or pre-configured wallets. Zhao emphasized that allowing others to retain access to a private key or seed phrase creates vulnerabilities that could lead to the loss of funds. He advised individuals to always transfer received cryptocurrency to a personal wallet they control or request a direct transfer to an owned wallet. This comes after Zhao resigned as Binance CEO and served time in prison for U.S. federal charges.
