The selection for the airdrop was based on users' profit or loss rankings during a specified eligibility period. However, some traders claim they met the criteria but did not receive tokens. Pump.fun has grown popular but is plagued by pump-and-dump schemes and other issues, including legal queries. Investors have filed lawsuits against the platform, alleging it functioned as an unregistered securities exchange. Pump.fun's founder, Alon, is now calling for tighter regulations on token launchpads.
