AVNU has launched the Community Token Initiative to address issues with token management and verification on the Starknet blockchain. The initiative aims to create a more secure and structured trading environment by implementing token verification requirements such as Total Value Locked (TVL), daily trading volume, and unique tickers. The AV Working Group, consisting of seven community members, will review and approve token requests to ensure only legitimate tokens are included in the AVNU Community List. AVNU has also released a Token List API to provide real-time data and verification tags for tokens on the Starknet platform. The initiative promotes community participation and transparency, with the goal of making Starknet a safe and robust blockchain environment. Users are encouraged to contribute to the ongoing process to build a safer ecosystem.
