Andrew Tate, controversial figure and alleged human trafficker, has launched a new political party in the UK called Britain Restoring Underlying Values (BRUV). In the party manifesto, Tate makes extreme right-wing promises, including the introduction of blockchain-based voting and a national bitcoin reserve. However, there is confusion over his understanding of the UK's electoral system, as a prime minister is elected through securing constituency seats in parliament, rather than simply "running" for the role. The manifesto also includes right-leaning ideas around immigration, culture, and crime. Tate's political promises and statements on social media platforms have been bizarre and lacking credibility. Currently under house arrest in Romania due to investigations into allegations of human trafficking, Tate's party is not officially listed with the electoral commission.
