YOYOW (YOYOW)

YOYOW, or the “You Own Your Own Words” platform, is a decentralised blockchain-based social media platform that rewards content creators for the quality of their contributions to the network. It was founded by a group of blockchain technology professionals from tencent, 360 and other tech companies. YOYOW aims to address the centralised nature of existing social media platforms, which lack the kind of peer-to-peer interaction found in distributed ledger technology. YOYOW seeks to create an open, fair and transparent system that allows content creators to be actively rewarded for the quality of their work. These rewards are generated by users voting on the quality of posts, as well as general market demand and the amount of tokens being staked. YOYOW rewards their users for a wide variety of activities, from generating content to participating in discussions and group activities. The platform also features "Quality Index," which rewards content producers for their long-term contribution rather than just a single post. This encourages users to contribute on a regular basis and develop a loyal following on the platform. YOYOW tokens are used as a reward for users who both create and contribute valuable content on the platform. The tokens can also be exchanged for other cryptocurrency tokens on trading platforms such as Bittrex or Yobit. YOYOW tokens can also be used to "stake" (i.e. lock in) tokens into the platform's Reward Pool, which increases the content producer's reward total. Overall, YOYOW is an interesting and innovative platform that is attempting to make social media more equitable and reward content creators in a fair and transparent manner. It is still relatively new and somewhat untested, but with the right combination of user interest and platform development, it could become a major player in the social media space.
