Description

Cartesi (CTSI) is a cryptocurrency asset built upon the Ethereum blockchain. It's a project aimed at making computations accessible and trustless. It was founded in 2019 by Rodolfo Back, a software engineer with a master’s degree in computer science from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Cartesi’s goal is to revolutionize the DeFi infrastructure by making it more efficient, cheaper and secure. It does this by allowing developers to create blockchain applications that are able to execute transactions inside of containers, creating a virtualized environment for executing transactions in an isolated, secure and efficient manner. This allows for more complex computations to be handled on the blockchain in a more reliable and cost-effective way, thus making the whole DeFi stack much more secure and scalable. Cartesi also has a unique edge over other blockchain-focused projects due to its reliance on the Linux operating system, which most developers are very familiar with. This makes it much easier to develop and deploy applications on the Cartesi platform compared to other blockchain-based projects, which makes it more attractive to developers looking to build trustless applications. The coin is currently being traded and exchanged on both decentralized and centralized exchanges, being one of the leading DeFi-focused cryptocurrency slices in the market. Its current market capitalization is around USD 80 million, making it one of the top ten tokens by total value in the DeFi space. It has recently seen a huge spike in trading activity, hitting an all-time high in Jan 2021 and continuing to be one of the more promising tokens in the space. Overall, Cartesi offers a unique approach to solving complex computation problems on the blockchain, helping to further the DeFi ecosystem and promote the use of decentralized applications. Its easy-to-learn platform and focus on Linux make it even more attractive to developers, thus creating a strong foundation for the future growth of the token. Comments David: Cartesi is a fantastic project, and has had some great success in the past year. It's clearly having a great effect on the DeFi infrastructure and I think is a token that we'll be seeing a lot more interest in in 2021! Nicole: Cartesi is definitely one of the most promising projects in the DeFi space right now. Their focus on Linux makes it incredibly appealing to developers and their unique approach to computation on the blockchain really sets them apart from the rest.
