What is Æternity (AE) Cryptocurrency? Æternity is a decentralized, open-source cryptocurrency and smart contracts platform built on a blockchain network. It is designed to provide a trustless, decentralized and low-cost platform for decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, digital asset management and record keeping. At its core, Æternity runs on a public Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm.
