OTC Pink is an over-the-counter (OTC) securities platform managed by OTC Markets Group. It is the most speculative and riskiest of the three OTC Markets Group platforms, the others being the OTCQX Best Market, which offers the highest level of disclosure among foreign and domestic issuers, and the OTCQB Venture Market which provides U.S. and international issuers with the opportunity to obtain transparent public trading. OTC Pink is often referred to as the “pink sheets” for its regular publication of listed companies and their trading prices in the pink sections of daily newspapers.
