Satoshi Nakamoto is the name associated with the person or group that published the original Bitcoin white paper in 2008 and worked on the original Bitcoin software released in 2009. Since then, many have claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto or suggested as the real people behind the pseudonym, but the true identity (or identities) behind Satoshi remains unclear.
