WLD Price Drops as Bankrupt 3AC and Alameda Liquidate Their Worldcoin Holdings

The ongoing sale of Worldcoin (WLD) tokens by bankrupt institutions Three Arrows Capital (3AC) and Alameda Research is causing concern among investors. Both institutions have been steadily selling their unlocked tokens since July, putting downward pressure on the price of WLD. Three Arrows Capital, which holds 75 million WLD tokens, has already sold 2.538 million worth $4.06 million. Alameda Research, which acquired 25 million WLD through its investment in Worldcoin, has sold 1.129 million worth $1.8 million and still holds 24.3 million WLD valued at $36.69 million. These ongoing liquidations have made Worldcoin's market performance more volatile, with the token dropping 3.03% in the past 24 hours. The price has stayed under pressure, with minor recoveries, due to the consistent sell-offs. Worldcoin is currently ranked #84 on CoinMarketCap, with a market capitalization of $730.8 million.
