USDT Transaction Volume on TRON Hit Record-breaking $5.46 Trillion in 2024

The TRON protocol has achieved a new record by processing 749.5 million transfers of USDT in 2024, with an average of 2.05 million daily transfers. This reflects the significant growth TRON has experienced throughout the year. The TRON network also saw a 48% increase in USDT transfer volume, reaching $5.46 trillion in 2024 compared to the previous year. The rise in stablecoin transactions on the TRON chain has been attributed to its affordable payment services, fast transaction speed, and low payment costs. This unprecedented growth has also influenced the value of TRX, TRON's primary digital asset, which has increased by 155.2% in the past year. Although TRX has not experienced significant gains recently and is currently trading at $0.2631, it remains resilient and has performed well among the top 10 virtual currencies by market valuation. Market analysts predict that TRON's price could climb to $1 or even higher in 2025. Additionally, the TRON protocol has generated more revenue than Ethereum due to its low transaction fees, further indicating its growing influence in the blockchain space.
