CandleFocus Shibarium Eyes One Billion Transaction Record, Here's Possible Impact on SHIB Price

Shibarium, a layer-2 scaling solution on Ethereum owned by Shiba Inu, is close to reaching the milestone of one billion transactions. With a current transaction count of 941,104,799, the protocol only needs 58,895,201 more transactions to achieve this milestone. Based on the current average daily transaction rate, it is estimated that Shibarium will reach this milestone in about 14 days. The protocol has shown steady growth since its launch in August 2023, and its performance metrics, including a five-second block time, make it stand out among other Ethereum scaling protocols. The success of Shibarium is often associated with the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB), as increased usage is expected to drive up demand for the token. However, the price of SHIB has dropped over 32% in the past three months, despite the protocol's progress. The impact of reaching one billion transactions on community adoption and hype remains uncertain. Nonetheless, the protocol continues to maintain a positive outlook with regular updates and improvements.
