The price of XRP cryptocurrency experienced a significant surge of 7.5% during today's trading session, reaching a two-week high of $2.75. This price movement was preceded by a transfer of over $1 billion worth of XRP by Ripple, a cross-border crypto payments provider. Ripple, which holds a significant amount of XRP in its escrow accounts, moved 300 million XRP to an unknown address and another 90 million XRP to a different wallet. The sudden large transfers have caused speculation and uncertainty among market participants, but have also contributed to the surge in XRP's price. The outcome of this situation remains unknown.
