CandleFocus Ripple CEO Reacts as SEC Acknowledges Grayscale’s XRP ETF Application

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged NYSE Arca's application to list and trade Grayscale's XRP ETF shares. This indicates that the SEC is willing to consider the approval of the XRP ETF, showing a more open-minded approach. The SEC will review the application, a process that could take up to 240 days. Other issuers, including Bitwise and Canary, have also applied for XRP ETFs, and the SEC's acknowledgment suggests they may see similar recognition. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expressed his belief that an XRP ETF is inevitable and praised the SEC's acknowledgment. Despite the ongoing lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple, the SEC's acknowledgment of the XRP ETF application indicates a change in the significance of the lawsuit.
