Swiss privacy tech company Proton has launched its own bitcoin wallet called Proton Wallet. The wallet has received positive reviews for its user interface and the ability to link a user's email address to their bitcoin address for easier transactions. However, it does not support Lightning transactions and does not allow users to manage their UTXOs. Despite these limitations, the wallet is recommended for those new to bitcoin self-custody. Proton's wallet is viewed as a fine product and is recommended for Bitcoin newbies.
