Pantera Capital to grant co-investment rights to $25m LPs in Fund V

Pantera Capital, a Californian crypto venture giant, plans to launch its fifth venture-style fund in 2025. The new fund, called Pantera Fund V, will allow limited partners (LPs) who commit $25 million or more to gain co-investment rights in key blockchain deals. LPs will be able to participate in at least 10% of each venture equity, private token, and special opportunity deal valued over $10 million. The co-investment option does not come with management fees or carried interest. Pantera aims to raise $1 billion for the fund and expects the first closing to occur in April 2025.
