American rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, is planning to launch his own meme coin called YZY, which will serve as the official currency of his Yeezy brand and website. This comes as Kanye's business empire has faced challenges due to his controversial statements, causing strained relationships with top brands. With 70% of tokens owned by Kanye, 20% released for investors, and 10% for liquidity, YZY aims to follow the tokenomics pattern of Dogecoin. However, the timing of launching a meme coin is questionable, as recent failures in the market have seen a drop in meme coin prices. It remains to be seen if YZY will succeed or face a similar fate.
