CandleFocus Bloomberg Analyst Explains Why Crypto’s Performance Is ‘Impressive’

Joe Weisenthal, co-host of the "Odd Lots" podcast on Bloomberg Podcasts, believes that the performance of the cryptocurrency market is impressive. Despite the stagnant market cap of altcoins compared to 2021, Weisenthal thinks that crypto's performance is remarkable, considering the speculative retail-driven mania seen last year. While Ethereum's dominance has dropped to around 10%, altcoins have performed better compared to most SPACs, which have experienced significant price plunges. Although the market recently experienced a correction, the total cryptocurrency market cap currently stands at nearly $3 trillion.
