Infini founder reaffirms 20% bounty and legal immunity to Infini hacker for return of stolen funds
The founder of stablecoin digital bank Infini, Christian Li, has sent a second message to the hacker responsible for stealing $49.5 million from Infini's wallets. In the blockchain transaction, Li transferred 0.1 ETH to the hacker's address, acknowledging their skill and proposing a white-hat agreement, offering a 20% bounty of the stolen assets in return for their return. Li assured the hacker that no legal action would be taken if they comply. Previously, on the day of the hack, Infini warned the hacker and offered the same 20% bounty for the return of the stolen assets. It is believed that the exploit occurred due to a compromised private key, rather than a vulnerability in the wallet infrastructure.
