In January 2025, bitcoin's price is hovering around $95,000, and prediction platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket are seeing increased activity as users bet on its future trajectory. One Polymarket wager suggests a 12% chance that bitcoin could reach $120,000 by the end of the month. Looking ahead to 2025, some experts predict that the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump could trigger a bullish movement for BTC and raise its value. On Kalshi, there is a 59% probability that bitcoin's price will reach $125,000 or higher before 2026. Meanwhile, on Polymarket, there have been several wagers on the price bitcoin will hit in January and by March 31, with varying probabilities for each price point. The active prediction market activity reflects the growing anticipation and confidence surrounding bitcoin's future.
