CandleFocus BBVA Debuts Tokenized Fund in Spain's Sandbox

Spanish bank BBVA is launching a tokenized fund in collaboration with the Spanish securities regulator's sandbox. The fund will be exclusively available to BBVA employees in order to research the potential application of blockchain technology to traditional financial tools. The operations of the fund will be registered on a private blockchain provided by Allfunds, with BBVA Asset Management acting as the fund manager and marketer. The bank emphasized that this project is an important step towards adopting blockchain technology in asset management, and it will allow BBVA to explore the benefits in a secure and controlled environment.
