CandleFocus 182 Million XRP in 24 Hours, Here's What Happened

Recently, Whale Alert, a popular blockchain tracking platform, observed several significant cryptocurrency transactions involving nearly 190 million XRP. Two-thirds of these coins were transferred between anonymous wallets. The XRP price has also seen a rebound, increasing by approximately 21% in the past 24 hours. The largest transfer spotted by Whale Alert carried 99,999,977 XRP worth $222,109,105. The other two transfers consisted of 52,765,919 XRP ($118,291,144) and 30,000,000 XRP ($70,897,571). The total value of these transactions amounted to around $411.1 million. Some speculate that these transfers could be an OTC sale or the result of an anonymous whale buying the dip in XRP's price. The XRP community's reaction has been mixed. Additionally, Ripple recently launched RLUSD, its own stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar, stepping into the competitive stablecoin market.
