ZachXBT: Scammer Stole Over $6.5 Million by Impersonating Coinbase Support

In a recent investigation by crypto sleuth ZachXBT, it was discovered that scammer Ronald Spektor conducted a phishing operation by impersonating Coinbase support. So far, Spektor has managed to steal at least $6.5 million, with more than half of the funds remaining untraced. The investigation found that Spektor's efforts were part of a growing trend of sophisticated phishing scams, with his ability to cover his tracks partially before the investigation was made public. Spektor deleted multiple social media accounts to destroy incriminating evidence and used a TON address to launder assets. While his trail has gone cold and his accomplices remain unidentified, the publicized investigation may result in new information. This investigation follows a similar one by ZachXBT that led to the resignation of OpSec's CEO and core team.
