The lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, has urged President-elect Donald Trump to appoint a blockchain advisor in his administration. This comes as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) explores implementing a blockchain-based election system. Kusama expressed concerns about the rumored blockchain election platform being reviewed by Trump's team, emphasizing the need for Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to ensure secure voter data. Kusama called for a blockchain advisor to bridge the gap between technology and public policy. This move would align with Trump's increased engagement with crypto-focused figures in his administration.
