Ripple has unveiled a website redesign that has caught the attention of the crypto community. However, one notable omission from the new site is any mention of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). This has led to speculation about whether Ripple is stepping back from CBDC initiatives or simply keeping a low profile due to the US's recent stance on CBDCs. Ripple has a history of participating in CBDC pilots and launched its own CBDC Platform in 2023. Despite the lack of CBDC mention, Ripple Custody, its enterprise-grade solution, continues to experience significant growth. Additionally, Ripple announced a partnership with Unicâmbio to support cross-border payments between Portugal and Brazil.
