Yichao Ji, co-founder of AI startup Manus, has publicly denied any association between the project and cryptocurrencies. The statement comes after the unexpected suspension of the project's official account on X. Ji suggested that third-party references to crypto scams may have triggered the suspension, emphasizing that Manus has no connection to such activities. However, several tokens using the name "Manus" have appeared on decentralized exchanges, leading to concerns about potential scams. Despite this, Manus is actually an advanced AI agent developed by AI firm Monica, with capabilities praised by many. The project is currently in an early preview phase.
