CandleFocus Major XRP Ledger Amendment to Go Live Today: Details

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is undergoing a major amendment called AMMClawback, which will allow token issuers to retrieve assets deposited into AMM pools under defined circumstances. The goal of this amendment is to ensure regulatory compliance. The amendment prohibits the deposit of new tokens into an AMM pool if one of the tokens in the wallet has been frozen. It also introduces changes to the behavior of AMMDeposit transactions. The amendment has achieved 91.43% consensus and is expected to be implemented soon. This upgrade is part of XRPL's ongoing effort to enhance its platform functionality. XRPL has also announced the addition of tokenized versions of U.S. treasuries through proactive upgrades on the ledger.
