Bitcoin's price has been fluctuating around the $100,000 mark, but has lost some momentum and currently sits below it. Altcoins, such as DOGE, experienced significant gains but have also retraced. Bitcoin surged after Trump's election victory, reaching almost $100,000 within a few weeks but struggled to break six digits. It briefly surpassed $100,000 and reached a new all-time high of nearly $104,000 before experiencing a sharp rejection and dropping to $92,000. Bitcoin rallied again to $102,000 but has since slipped and is currently below $100,000. Altcoins like PEPE and Dogecoin saw gains, while XRP bounced back after a decline. The total crypto market cap has retraced by around $40 billion and is now at approximately $3.820 trillion.
