Bitcoin's price has dropped over 10% from its peak of $108,000, but long-dormant bitcoins are being transferred to new wallets. Older bitcoin addresses have shown activity, with one wallet untouched since 2015 moving 44.99 BTC into modern wallets. Additionally, several legacy wallets from 2017 have come alive, transferring small fractions of bitcoin, masking a larger 100 BTC move. Another wallet from 2012, worth just $1,200 at the time, has now moved 104.99 BTC, valued at over $10 million. These transfers highlight the strategic moves of experienced bitcoin users to protect their fortunes.
