Aave to debut on Linea following fork rival ZeroLend’s controversy
Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Aave has received approval from its community to deploy its protocol on Linea, a zk-rollup network built on Ethereum. Linea, developed by Consensys, offers integration with other Consensys-owned products such as MetaMask and Infura, potentially providing Aave with access to a larger user base. The deployment aims to offer better scalability, faster transactions, and lower costs for Aave users. The Linea network currently has nearly $450 million in total value locked. Aave's expansion to Linea comes after its rival, ZeroLend, attempted a similar move earlier this year but faced controversy and criticism.
