National Association of Investors Corp. (NAIC)

Founded in 1951 by a group of individual investors, the National Association of Investors Corp. (NAIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people become better, more successful, long-term investors.

Through education, peer-to-peer networking and extensive online resources, the NAIC provides thousands of beginner and experienced investors the necessary tools to navigate the stock market. The NAIC views investing as a lifelong learning experience that changes and evolves with the markets.

The organization is primarily composed of individual members as well as investment clubs that span the U.S. and Canada. By joining the NAIC, members gain access to the NAIC's BetterInvesting magazine, specific investment clubs and the NAIC Investment Club program.

The NAIC also maintains an extensive repertoire of seminars and events tailored toward different types of investors. Whether it's a single investor or an entire investment club, the NAIC works to ensure its members are educated on the basics of stock market investing as well as in-depth, advanced topics.

In addition to its educational resources, the NAIC also provides members with access to a library of stock screening tools and resources. Through these tools, which are maintained by the organization’s Technical Advisory team, members can learn more in-depth methods of stock analysis.

The goal of the NAIC is to help foster a sense of community among members, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and provide its members with the tools they need to achieve success on the stock market.
