Trump’s WLFI whitelists 100k investors, adds Paxos Co-founder Rich Teo

World Liberty Financial, a crypto project backed by the Trump family, has whitelisted over 100,000 accredited U.S. investors ahead of its WLFI token presale. The WLFI token will be the governance token for the platform, allowing users to participate in key decisions. World Liberty Financial aims to create a unified platform for lending, borrowing, and transacting with stablecoins, with a goal of raising $300 million and valuing the venture at $1.5 billion. The project was launched by Donald Trump to disrupt traditional finance and offer decentralized finance as an alternative. Rich Teo, co-founder of Paxos, has joined as the lead for stablecoin and payment operations. The token presale is open to accredited U.S. investors, with additional investors from the UK and other regions following local regulations. The presale occurs just before the U.S. presidential election, where Donald Trump is running as the Republican candidate and has a 53.6% chance of winning according to Polymarket bettors.
