Trump sells DOGE shirts after Musk appointment, Dogecoin rally

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy as heads of the newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), named after Musk's favorite cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Trump is now selling DOGE shirts on his official campaign site for $28. The announcement caused $DOGE's volume to rise to $47 billion, but its price and market cap remained stable. Musk's previous promotional posts about Dogecoin have led to price pumps, and he has been accused of orchestrating "publicity stunts" to profit from the token. A lawsuit against Musk regarding this matter was dismissed in August.
