Sub-Second Finality—Sonic Labs Unveils Blaze Testnet 2.0

Sonic Labs has announced the release of its upgraded testnet 2.0, Blaze, which showcases advancements in the speed and efficiency of the Sonic blockchain. The blockchain, designed for high-speed transaction processing, aims to revolutionize scalability and usability in the blockchain space by offering sub-second finality and high throughput. The Blaze testnet demonstrates the blockchain's ability to handle extensive transactions efficiently, with an average block time of 1.17 seconds and a finality time of 0.85 seconds. Sonic Labs is committed to attracting decentralized application developers and strengthening the network's ecosystem with features like SonicVM and SonicDB. The project, led by blockchain innovator Andre Cronje, will also introduce a native token, "S." The success of the Sonic mainnet in real-world conditions will be closely monitored by the crypto community.
