Crypto exchange OKX Europe has acquired a firm with a MiFID II license in Malta, allowing it to offer regulated derivatives products throughout Europe. The exchange is expected to become operational later this year once it receives approval from the Malta Financial Services Authority. With this license, OKX will be able to provide regulated derivatives products and services to its institutional clients in the European Economic Area, solidifying its position as the third-largest exchange in the EU.
