BlackRock, the largest asset manager, has become one of the largest owners of digital assets in the world with a cryptocurrency portfolio worth $61.46 billion. The portfolio consists mainly of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the stablecoin USDC. BlackRock currently owns about 569,000 Bitcoins, with a value of $57.75 billion. Since the launch of its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) ETF, BlackRock has been steadily buying Bitcoin and has seen steady growth in its cryptocurrency holdings. Despite some volatility, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has expressed optimism that Bitcoin could reach $700,000. The performance of BlackRock's cryptocurrency holdings has followed a similar trajectory to Bitcoin itself, with both experiencing significant rises followed by periods of sideways trading and decline.
