FT Alphaville apologizes to readers after bitcoin hits $100K

The city editor of Financial Times' op-ed section, Alphaville, has apologized for their negative coverage of Bitcoin but quickly doubled down on their stance. They expressed regret for discouraging readers from buying BTC since 2011, but in a backhanded manner. The editor supports the pessimistic view of Bitcoin and defends past doomsaying articles. However, with Bitcoin surpassing $100,000 per coin and reaching a market value of $2 trillion, it has proven many BTC critics wrong.
